one day

if you could have the chance to travel the world one day, where would you go? who would you take? these are questions that I think about pretty frequently. I think the first place I would like to travel to is either Europe or Los Angeles. Los Angeles has been a place I’ve wanted to visit pretty much my entire life. I’m not exactly sure why; maybe it’s the perception that Hollywood gives off-maybe it’s the way I fangirl over celerities. Who knows?

Europe gives me a nice simplistic-upscale vibe. Both Europe and Los Angeles would be lovely places to visit.

So, Where would YOU go?

springing into fall

“springing into fall”

It’s actually crazy to think how fast the summer flew by, although I had a 4 month long summer. However, the weather was super nice for a while here in Ottawa and I had the chance to explore some more sights, and even had a chance to “frolic in the flowers” … or whatever flowers were left. In the back is the Notre Dame cathedral! Right before this picture happened, I went on a lovely date with my boyfriend to a patio restaurant in the market. It was super romantic and quite unplanned! After this, we walked around and enjoyed the sunset.

VIVA VEGAS

From August 4th to August 7th, I got the chance to go to Las Vegas, Nevada. It was more than what I expected! Every where you went, there would be people. Las Vegas is definitely a city that is up all night! Our hotel wasn’t right on the strip, it was just South of it so we had to drive for around 5 minutes before actually getting to the Strip. Our first night, we walked around Caesar’s Palace and the shops and had dinner at the Outback. It was crazy busy and even though it wasn’t a holiday season, there were still crowds and crowds of people. Unfortunately, there was no time for us to watch any shows, which is a HUGE attraction for Vegas visitors. However, that gives me something to look forward to for next time!

The second day, we went to Las Vegas Chinatown for dinner (because who doesn’t want legit asian food sometimes?!) and then we walked along the strip again. We went to Paris for macaroons and coffee. After that, we continued along the strip and visited Planet Hollywood. There was a store dedicated for Britney Spears!

As well, we also visited Old Las Vegas/Downtown Las Vegas. We went to Golden Nugget hotel where I got a souvenir boot filled with lots and lots of alcohol because the bartender wasn’t paying attention when he was pouring..

Overall, Las Vegas was such a blast! Can’t wait until the next time I can go there again!
